How do you define “Old Time” Square Dance music” ?
Posted in DefaultTag by squaredance at 1:17 am

I am posting 2 of what I would put on my list of "traditional" dance tunes played by a traditional band, Floyd Woodhull and his Old Tyme Masters.
The first is "Blackberry Quadrille", in 6/8 or what is sometimes called a "Jig".
The tune makes you want to "jig" up and down.
